Updates on COVID-19
To The Household of Faith at CORCC:
Grace and Peace:
COVID – 19 Pandemic-Stay Quarantined
The President of the United States has declared the church as essential. Something that we have always known. This announcement by the President which is being sent out to all Governors I believe should be accepted with great joy. However, we must continue to evaluate the information coming out of our state legislature concerning rules, regulations, and restrictions. Once properly evaluated we will PROCEED WITH CAUTION because the virus is as deadly today as when first revealed. Keep in mind that the church has not closed WE ARE STILL OPEN and have been since this pandemic began to devastate society as we know it. So don’t see running to a building as important as being committed to CONTINUAL STEADFASTNESS IN PRAYER.
As the world is acting and reacting to every update concerning this virus, I want to remind you that we will continue to be led by the Holy Spirit. Resuming service as we have known it at this time is not wisdom. Therefore, we will remain in place praying, believing in God, and making sure that we continue to bring every thought into captivity through the obedience of Christ. The Word of God states in Philippians 4:6 (MSG)
“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down”.
I encourage you to stay connected to the things we have going on every week. I look forward to you joining us this Saturday at 7 am for our weekly Breakthrough Prayer call and on this Sunday at 10 am via the CORCC YouTube or CORCC Facebook for our Broadcast.
God through the prophet Isaiah reminds us in Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
Please stay in touch with us via emails, website, and social media as to the projected reopening of our sanctuary as I fervently, along with our staff, seek God's guidance.
Much Love,
Dr. Wayne E. Anderson, Pastor
One Team One Vision One Mission One Voice One Fight

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM OUR PASTOR
Grace and Peace To The Household of Faith at CORCC:
Concerning the Coronavirus that’s gripping the nation and world with fear. I want to admonish those of the household of faith that now is the time to take hold of Ephesians 6:11-20 and be fully equipped with the amour of God. It’s time to stand firm in your faith, having on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet shod with the gospel of peace, the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit. This is the time to embrace God’s word.
As the world is acting and reacting to every announcement concerning this virus, the saints of God will stand firm on these declarations:
We Will Not Fear
Psalms 46:1-2 & II Timothy 1:7
We Will Trust God
Proverbs 3:5a & Psalms 91:2
We Will Be Sober and Vigilant
1 Peter 5:8
No Plague Will Come Nigh My Dwelling
Psalms 91:10-11
God Is Keeping Me
Isaiah 41:10
Remember We Are:
One Team. One Vision. One Mission. One Voice. One Fight
Stay Quarantined
Philippians 4:6 (MSG)
“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down”.
DWELLING AND ABIDING IN HIS PRESENCE, AS WELL AS, STAYING QUARANTINED AND SANITIZED IS THE SHIELD OF FAITH AGAINST THE DARTS OF THE VIRUS!
Romans 12:1-2 (AMP)
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.
“And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].”
Isaiah 26:3-4 (AMP)
“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].”
“Trust [confidently] in the Lord forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], For the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].”
Since the Coronavirus arrived on the scene it has become a VIRAL STRONGHOLD.
Remember the word according to II Corinthians 10:4 (AMP)
“For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the OVERTHROW AND DESTRUCTION OF STRONGHOLDS.”
The Coronavirus epidemic has now been declared a pandemic according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). People are being told to quarantine themselves, stay out of crowds, sanitize things they come into contact with and thoroughly wash hands.
Quarantine is an interesting word, it is a place of isolation, solitude, a place where you are considered safe. Just as the CDC and WHO is recommending people quarantine themselves for safety, we as the children of God find safety in the Word.
Psalms 91:1- 4 (MSG)
“You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow, Say this: “God, you’re my refuge. I trust in you and I’m safe!” That’s right—he rescues you from hidden traps, SHIELDS YOU FROM DEADLY HAZARDS. His huge outstretched arms protect you—under them you’re perfectly safe; his arms fend off all harm.”
Acts 17:28 a, c (KJV)
“For in him we live, and move, and have our being…we are also his offspring”
Hebrews 13:5c
“for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” …
Have no fear JESUS is near, actually he is HERE!
Galatians 5:1a
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free…”
STAND FAST, BE WISE, FEAR NOT
YOU ARE QUARANTINED
John 15:7 (MSG)
“Jesus said...if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon.”
Saints of God know that you are “QUARANTINED” in his presence and no plague will come neigh your dwelling!!!!!!

HEALTH TIPS
DR. JAMES MCKOY, MD
CDC and Who Guidelines
Basic protective measures against the coronavirus:
Wash your hands frequently
Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.
Why? Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.
Maintain social distancing
Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
Why? When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
Why? Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.
Practice respiratory hygiene
Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
Why? Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.
If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early
Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.
Why? National and local authorities will have the most up to date information on the situation in your area. Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility. This will also protect you and help prevent spread of viruses and other infections.
